Enhancement: Added [city] and [zipcode] Merge Fields to Advanced Criteria

Introducing an update that enhances the advanced criteria functionality in multiple darwin Cloud screens. This enhancement adds support for the [city] and [zipcode] merge fields, allowing for more refined filtering and rule application.

Screens

The new merge fields will be available in the advanced criteria section of the following screens:

  • Formula > Deduction Rules
  • Formula > Total
  • Settings > Extra Voucher
  • People > Overrides

Benefits of the Update

  • Users can now define rules and conditions based on city and zip code, allowing for more granular control
  • Deduction rules, total formulas, and overrides can be tailored to specific locations, improving system efficiency and accuracy

How It Works

  • Users can now include [city] and [zipcode] in advanced criteria when setting up rules and conditions in the affected screens
  • The darwin Cloud will dynamically replace these merge fields with the corresponding values from the user or transaction data
  • This update ensures that location-based conditions can be applied to deductions, total calculations, vouchers, and override settings

This enhancement provides users with greater flexibility in rule creation and improves the overall functionality of darwin Cloud.

Add new merge fields to advance criteria:

  1. Click Formulas menu
  2. Click Totals submenu
  3. Choose Totals from the right panel
  4. Click elipsis (...)
  1. Type city or zip to find merge fields
  2. Double-click [city] and [zipcode] to add merge fields
  3. Click save
