Enhancement to Property by Agent Type Letter: New Merge Fields

To improve the accuracy and clarity of commission-related information in the Property by Agent Type Letter, two new merge fields are being introduced:

• {Agent_CommRate_List}
• {Agent_CommRate_Sell}

Purpose of the New Merge Fields

These fields are designed to ensure that only the relevant commission rate is displayed based on the agent’s role in a transaction

{Agent_CommRate_List}

• Displays the commission rate applicable when the agent is on the listing side of the transaction
• The selling commission rate will not be visible in this case

{Agent_CommRate_Sell}

• Displays the commission rate applicable when the agent is on the selling side of the transaction
• The listing commission rate will not be visible in this case

By implementing these merge fields, the letter will dynamically display the relevant commission rate, improving efficiency and reducing potential errors in agent communication.

To add the new merge fields to the letter:

1. Click Tools menu
2. Click Letter submenu
3. Choose a letter template on the correspondence

Form the merge fields:

4. Look for {listCommRate} and drag to the letter template
5. Look for {sellCommRate} and drag to the letter template
6. Click save
