How to Post a Property using the Accounting Fields

  1. Post date for accounting - enter the date of when the property was closed.
  2. Direct deposit or Write Checks now - Record the check number in darwin Cloud without printing checks upon posting the property.
    • Choose the bank account from drop-down and;
    • Enter the date for checks/direct deposits.
  3. Write Escrow check paid to Company for commission - Use this field if user has set up a specific Escrow to Company Payee (Title Company) to receive Escrow check upon posting the property.
  4. Record payments received - Record receivables payments upon posting the property. User can record one or multiple payments, enter the $ amount, check #, and memo. Enter the desired date for payments received.
  5. Record ALL payments as a single deposit with no other item? - Record all receivables payments as a Deposit upon posting the property. Choose the bank account from drop-down and enter the desired date for deposit date.
