How Do I Set Up Submission Preferences for Other Income Transactions?

For Anywhere Real Estate Inc., Realogy customers, there are a few steps that should be taken to ensure that Other Income transactions, such as Property Management, are processed correctly in darwin Cloud and submitted successfully to dash.

Confirm Correct Setup for Property Management Accounting Code

To process Property Management correctly, there should be an accounting code set up to assign to Property Management transactions:

  1. Click Formulas
  2. Click Acct codes
  3. Make sure there is an accounting code called PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
  4. Confirm that the income type is set to Misc income

Based on franchise agreement with Anywhere Real Estate Inc., transactions with the "Misc income" designation may be assessed fees differently than sales transactions.

Set Submission Preferences for Rental and Other Income Transactions

Due to the way Anywhere Real Estate Inc. processes Rental and Other Income transactions, they cannot be submitted using the same real-time submission process used for sales.  To streamline the way these transactions are submitted in darwin Cloud, there is a setting that creates a batch submission to be run for these transactions when the "Submit" button is clicked.

To turn on this feature:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Setup
  3. Click application settings
  4. Select Submission 
  5. Update the value of Flag to block real-time submits for rentals and Flag to block real-time submits for other incomes to True
  6. Click save
