The error "Only Pending transactions can be cancelled" occurs when dash receives a transaction with Cancelled status that was not previously submitted with Pending status.  This occurs most commonly when the transaction failed to submit in Pending status due to missing data, and was cancelled before a successful submission with status Pending occurred.

Common errors include:

• Missing Sales Price or Commission Price
• Missing Commission Percent
• Pending Date is prior to Listing Date
• Required fields are missing from the record

The property should be resubmitted twice via real-time submission.

1. Go to Properties
2. Click Basics
3. Click Submit

First attempt, the user will get the same error then a user should repeat step #3.

Second attempt, should submit successfully as Withdrawn in Dash.

The best way to prevent the error "Only Pending Transactions can be Cancelled" is to monitor transactions while they are still in Pending status to make sure they are submitting successfully.  The following sections of the dashboard will be helpful to your team in tracking the status of Pending transactions:

Pending section:

• Pendings missing closing date
• Pendings with no Gross Commission

Franchise Requirement section:

• Property TOTAL submit errors
