What is Company Store?

  1. Company Store is a new feature in darwin.Cloud that is meant to simplify the accounting for items and services that the company sells to agents OR it can be used as a directory to point agents to preferred sites that you want them purchase items from..
     

Why Use Company store ?

Automate agent ordering. This is a way for agents to communicate items they want you to provide to them.

Automate agent billing. Whenever an agent purchases anything from the company store, they are invoiced for it automatically. No staff data entry required.

  1. Control collections Every item in the company store can be flagged as a “pre-pay” item.  If an agent needs to pay for something in advance, the company store allows you to setup that rule.
  1. Direct Agents to an approved vendor.  Some items are not provided by the office, but the office has a vendor that they want the agents to use.  The Company store can be setup to direct agents to the right website for ordering items online.

     
  2. Order Services.  There are some optional services that an office performs for an agent - usually related to listings or transactions… the company store provides a way for agents to order services - even without payment.

     
  3. Take some of the monthly billing out of the accounting department.  Use the company Store to let front line staff enter the variable billing or consumables like printing or postage
